James L. Greer

SENIOR MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN, PARTNER

Jim received his formal education in Regina, Saskatchewan.  He attended Kelsey Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in Saskatoon while apprenticing in the Sheet Metal Trade, obtaining is Journeyman’s Certificate in 1978, and worked in the trade until obtaining his drafting qualifications, at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology in 1987, receiving training at a level of proficiency required for a Draftsperson.

Through his experience, Jim has received significant experience in the design and construction supervision of light industrial, commercial, institutional and health care facilities, designing systems for a wide and varied range of facilities and complexes from small to large in size and scale.

His design/drafting career has included projects in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Because of his trade background Jim has focused on the HVAC and sheet metal facets of our discipline.

In 2005 Jim became one of the founding Partners of the Mechanical design group.
