John Yannitsos, A.SC.T.

SENIOR MECHANICAL TECHNOLOGIST, PARTNER

John Yannitsos was born in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1969 where he completed his elementary education. John attended the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where he completed and received his diploma in civil engineering technology. John joined Stantec in the summer of 1994.

John has twelve years of mechanical system design and project management experience by working in a diverse field of commercial, light industrial, residential, and health care projects for clients that include both public and private sectors. This includes designing of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, heating/cooling, and water purification systems.

John has been heavily involved in providing mechanical design and project management for several major and minor tenant improvement projects and for new commercial building projects such as the Regina International Airport Addition and Renovations. He is also involved in the design and project management for several light industrial projects such as the Sask. Power Service Center.

John has also been in the forefront in providing mechanical design and project management for several large and small residential projects that include the Arens Road Condominium Project, The Faith Baptist Emmanuel Assisted Living Condominiums in Saskatoon and the West Edmonton Christian Assembly Assisted Living Condominiums in Edmonton.

John has also completed mechanical design and project management for major health care projects in Saskatchewan such as new renal dialysis units in the Saskatoon St. Paul’s Hospital, and the South Eastern Saskatchewan District’s Yorkton Hospital.

In 2005 John became one of the founding Partners of the Mechanical design group.

Diploma Civil Engineering, Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Sciences & Technology (SIAST)

In July 2010 John achieved his Limited Membership status with APEGS and has his Seal and Permission to Consult in the Mechanical Discipline in Saskatchewan.
